I have always been more interested in the story behind a plant than the fashion around it.
I love the old uses, the household remedies, the handwritten notes and the idea that someone hundreds of years ago was standing over a bowl, working out what made skin look and feel better.
Eternal Botanica grew from that fascination, and from the much more modern experience of reaching menopause and wondering why my own skin had suddenly become so dry and difficult.
This is where those two things meet: historical botanical knowledge and the very present-day wish to look in the mirror and think, “Actually, my skin looks rather good today.”
